Returns & Exchange Policy

 If you wish to return a sample, exchange an item or return an item delivered incorrectly or with a fault please read these Returns & Exchange Policies carefully.

Take particular note of the timeline AND the condition in which exchanged or returned items must be received by us. Returns or exchanges may incur a charge.

Note: Unfortunately the following brands: JB's Wear, Prime Mover, Pro Choice and Esko Safety will incur a $15.00 + gst re-stocking charge. We do not accept 'free sample returns' or 'free size exchange' on these two brands.

Timeline for Returns & Exchange Items:

  • You must let us know by email within 7 working days of delivery, or
  • You must complete the Product Returns form on the website within 7 working days.
  • Items must be returned to the allocated warehouse within 3 working days of receiving your Return Authorisation documentation.

Condition of Returns & Exchange Items: We have to be able to re-sell these items! So the following conditions must be met for us to entertain the idea of an exchange or return for credit;

  • Products must be returned in the condition they were shipped and in the same individual product packaging as received (including tags attached to the products).
  • Products cannot be returned or exchanged if they have been customised in any way (unless by us). This obviously includes embroidery, screenpriting or naming with vivid marker.

        Note: We suggest you take care not to damage the packaging when you receive your order - just in case you require a Free Size Exchange.

Size Exchange Policy: Work Safety and Apparel Online are happy to accept items back for size exchange however we ask that you take as much care as possible when you select your sizes. 

  • FREE Size Exchange of garments is only possible on orders of  $100 or more in total value.
  • Orders under $100 in total value will incur a $15 + gst fee that will be invoiced and must be paid prior to despatch of exchange items.
  • Unfortunately Free Size Exchange does not apply to JB's Wear, Prime Mover, Pro Choice and Esko Safety branded garments and safety supplies which will incur a $15 re-stocking fee per order.
  • Products must meet 'Condition of Return' and 'Timeline of Exchange' conditions above.
  • Only one exchange shipment per order. ie, you can exchange every item in your order but only the one time.
  • FREE Size Exchange also means no additional freight charges NZ wide.

         Note: There is a considerable internal cost involved in receiving, re-stocking, re-picking and re-sending exchanged items. This is why we can only offer a FREE exchange on orders over $100.00.

Other Exchange Reasons: If you wish to exchange an item for reasons other than size exchange, such as colour or style change;

  • You will incur a $15 + gst admin & re-stocking fee that will be invoiced and must be paid prior to despatch of exchange items.
  • You will be charged freight to return the items to you.
  • Returned products must meet 'Condition of Return' and 'Timeline of Exchange' conditions above.
  • Only one exchange shipment per order. ie, you can exchange every item in your order but only the one time.

Sample Returns Policy: Work Safety and Apparel Online will refund products purchased as samples according to the following terms.

  • Samples must still be purchased and paid for prior to despatch.
  • Maximum order value for samples is $250 excluding Gst and Freight.
  • When ordering samples - 'SAMPLES' must be entered in the comments section at the end of the checkout page.
  • You must advise us of your intention to return within 7 working days of delivery, or
  • You must complete the Product Returns form on the website within 7 working days.
  • Samples must be returned to the allocated warehouse within 3 working days of receiving your Return Authorisation documentation.
  • Products must meet 'Condition of Return' conditions below.
  • ALL samples returned with an accompanying order will be refunded to the full charged value of the garments.
  • Freight charges to send the initial samples will not be refunded.
  • Samples returned without an accompanying order will incur a $15 re-stocking fee per order.

        We apolgise for charging this re-stocking fee - but it is charged to us by our 3rd party distribution warehouses and is unavoidable. If you place an order we will bear the cost.

What can be Returned for Credit: 

  • If we are unable to exchange the product because we do not have it in stock we are happy to accept the item back and credit you the price of the garment and associated freight charges.
  • If we are unable to exchange the product in a reasonable period of time we are happy to accept the item back and credit you the price of the garment and associated freight charges.
  • If we delivered an item that does not match the product description and you have felt misled as to the quality or specifications of the item we will absolutely accept the item back and credit you the price of the garment and associated freight charges.

Returning Product:

  • You will be responsible for the cost of returning the goods to us, and will remain responsible for any and all returned goods until they reach our warehouse. We strongly advise that you return goods via tracked courier. 
  • In the case of products delivered incorrectly or that do not match the product description and you have felt misled as to the quality or specifications of the item, we will refund to you the cost of freight to return the goods to us.
  • You are responsible if the goods are lost, damaged or destroyed in transit before they are returned to us.
  • Returns and exchanges will be processed as soon as possible after arrival and in any event within no more than 7 days of the day of arrival.
  • If you cannot return products to us in the condition they were shipped (in the same individaul product packaging including tags attached to the products) we may accept their return but we will deduct from your refund a charge of no more than 30% of the price of the goods as we will not be able to sell those goods on at full price.
  • Where the goods were delivered to a third party and you are unable to return them to us, you may not be entitled to a refund.
  • We will only make a refund by direct credit into a bank account nominated by you, or if you paid by credit card we will refund your card.

  • Refunds can take up to 7 days to process from the day we receive the goods.
